Description
- Ingredients: Coriander, toor dhal, cumin, compounded asafetida, pepper, chilli, horse gram, salt, garlic, turmeric, fenugreek, curry leaf, refined groundnut oil.
- Recipe: Make 1 litre of tamarind/tomato juice. Fry mustard, chillies and curry leaves in edible oil. Add tamarind/tomato juice, 1 spoon sakthi rasam powder, salt to taste and boil for 10 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves. Tasty rasam is now ready to serve.
- Preparation: Dry Roasting-Toasting the whole spices in a dry pan or skillet until fragrant helps enhance their flavors and aromas. Grinding-Once toasted, the spices are ground into a smooth and uniform powder using a mortar and pestle, spice grinder, or blender. Cooling and Storing-The ground rasam powder is then allowed to cool before being stored in an airtight container to preserve its freshness and flavor.
